7/14/26 Monthly SCD Board Meeting & Permissive Medical Levy
The Stillwater Conservation District will hold a public hearing on July 14, 2026, at 5pm,at USDA Building (334 N. 9thSt, Columbus MT) for public comment on continuing its permissive medical levy for employee group benefits for FY 2027, with no proposed increase. JOIN THE BOARD
The Stillwater Conservation District is seeking interested community members to fill two vacant positions on the Board of Supervisors:
• One Elected Supervisor Position — Area 2
This position represents the northern portion of Stillwater County.
• One Urban Supervisor Position
This position represents the interests and perspectives of residents living within an incorporated area of Stillwater County.
Board supervisors help guide the District’s conservation programs, priorities, and services. Supervisors attend monthly meetings, review District business, and work with landowners, residents, agencies, and community partners to support agriculture, water quality, conservation education, and responsible natural resource management.
This is a great opportunity to serve your community and help shape the future of conservation in Stillwater County.
